Kingstown Studios C.I.C. represents a breakthrough for independent film making in the Hull and East Yorkshire environs. We are proud to announce the latest addition to our growing portfolio, Hull based 'Hepcatproductions'. Our aim is to continue their ethos of using local talent to create films and documentaries.

Kingstown Studios C.I.C. are at the forefront of film-making for Hull and the East Riding. From Scarborough to Goole, from Harrogate to Hull, we have no peers...well, maybe one or two. As a community interest company (C.I.C.) our priority is to produce films and documentaries that can range from the mainstream to a whirling eddy. The aim is to incorporate, use and promote local resources - human and material - to enlighten all who watch our productions.
Our recent acquisition, Hepcatproductions, have already shown in their early output, a flair for capturing the essence and atmosphere of Hull's grand architecture and heritage. We are confident that they will enjoy even greater success, a shared ethos that can only benefit the region.
The long term aim of Kingstown Studios C.I.C. is to secure a large production facility
(by whatever means possible), where local talent can work effectively. We envisage a rehearsal/performance space with additional areas for film production such as costume making, set design etc. It is intended that the local envisionaries can use and learn and educate via this enterprise.
